What is CROW?

The aim of CROW is to provide a weekly gaming opportunity for everyone and nurture roleplaying skills. The primary goal is to provide a venue in which the roleplaying community of both Cardiff University and Cardiff in general can interact on a regular basis, allowing gamers to attend as frequently as they wish without tying themselves into long-term commitments (i.e. no more than five weeks at a time) but providing a stable base for roleplaying. This is an opportunity for both new and experienced roleplayers to hone their skills with diverse players and GMs.

CROW aims to cater for all roleplaying needs. Having trouble finding a game? CROW is the answer. Want to play some extra games? CROW is the answer. Want to play games with people other than your regular gaming group? CROW is the answer. Want to try GMing? CROW is the answer.

Games are run on a five week rotation. In other words, each GM runs for five weeks and then we switch to a new set of games for another five weeks. GMs may return to a campaign setting after a five week hiatus for other GMs to run their games and players may be granted the opportunity to reprise their characters - but that's a decision on the part of the GMs. Check the schedule to see what's running. Past games have included Victoriana, Cyberpunk, Reign, Primetime Adventures, Dogs in the Vineyard, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, Call of Cthulhu, Nobilis, Geist, and Elric of Melniboné.
