What if I can't make it one week?
Just let the GM know ahead of time as soon as you know you can't make it or if you suspect you might not be available so that s/he can be prepared. If you're the GM then let your players know as soon as possible to give someone the opportunity to run a one-shot game as a filler.
Does it cost?
No. Although if you are not a member of RAWSOC then membership is just £2 and joining is greatly appreciated and encouraged, though not required. This way you can be kept up to date with both events within RAWSOC, nd any breaking news regarding CROW that we may not have time to place on the website and recieve discounts at friendly local gaming shops.
Can I GM another game immediately after five weeks?
Normally, no. Unless for some reason we have a shortage of people wanting to run games, the spirit of CROW is to nurture diversity and give all players the opportunity to GM and if only a few people are always GMing without a break then this cannot happen.
I've never run a game before. Can I still run a game at CROW?
Absolutely. CROW is about giving people the opportunity to hone their skills as roleplayers in both GMing and playing. Everyone has to start GMing somewhere and at CROW you can GM something for five weeks in a supportive environment. Don't be afraid to ask for feedback from the players.
